Manufacturing plastic bags and plastic raw materials in plastic recycling industry, Ulucan Plastik has started the manufacture of garbage bags.
Having started the incorporating process in 1995 in Adana, ULUCAN Plastik Ind. Trade Ltd. Company continues its operations under the management of Cafer Uluışık and Turan Uluışık. Entered the plastic recycling industry in 1991, brothers have been manufacturing plastic recycling raw materials and bags since 1995. Having increased their production capacity through production line investments in proportion to the increased business volume in the industry, Ulucan Plastik increased their total indoor area up to 4 thousand 500 square meters with their new 3 thousand square meters indoor area in Adana Medium Scale Industrial Area. Company has finalized their preparations for garbage bag manufacturing by commissioning their new machine park in early 2019.
Speaking to KOBİGÜNDE Magazine, ULUCAN Plastik LTD. company partner Turan Uluışık said, “Aside from the manufacture of plastic recycling raw materials, we also started manufacturing non-printed plastic bags through the investments we made. Since 2019, we added garbage bags to our production. We are catering to various industries with our manufacture of garbage bags. Starting with hospitals, educational establishments, fitness centres, restaurants, apartment buildings, with our garbage bag manufacture we have started to provide services in every area of communal life.”
Stating that they are working with distributors across Turkey, Uluışık expressed, “All the products we are manufacturing reach our customers through the outlets we have found within our structure. With the distributor system we have come to a point that we are supplying 80% percent of Turkish market. We have recycling machines, plastic bag manufacturing machines and garbage bag manufacturing machines in our facility. We are providing services to our customers with our manufacture of high and low density plastic bags.”
Indicated that they aim to overcome shrinkage in the plastic recycling industry regarding plastic bag applications through export, Turan Uluışık ended his statement saying this: “Especially recently, our industry shrank considerably as a result of the decisions taken regarding the plastic bags. So, that allowed us to enter into a new pursuit with our current production. In this direction, we aim to export especially with our garbage bag manufacture. We are rapidly doing the necessary research. In the long run, we aim to overcome this shrinkage in our industry through export. Aside from that, we cater to various industries with our rustled bag manufacture. We manufacture non-printed bags in any size and colour made of polyethylene (HDPE) and low density polyethylene (LDPE) raw material. Again, first priority of our company is quality and customer satisfaction and to make an effort to meet customer needs at the highest level and continue our activities in the industry in a correct way without compromising quality.”
